Lin joined HEDA Ventures in 2016 and focuses on investments in therapeutics and diagnostics. Prior to joining HEDA Ventures, Lin was doing research at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Center in Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, where she applied innovative imaging, molecular and cellular technologies to study genetic basis and therapeutic targets for neurological disorders. Lin authored peer-review publications in top international journals including Neuron, Nature Communications, Human Molecular Genetics, and Human Mutation. She also addressed international conference speeches to present her research. Lin obtained her Ph.D. in Medical Sciences with focus on Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, Canada.
