Lin Xie, PhD, graduated from Institute of Medical Sciences at University of Toronto. During her PhD, she published multiple research papers at prestigious international journals. She is the first author in the paper published in Neuron, elaborating the mechanisms that a new class of protein regulates ion channel trafficking and neuronal excitability. She is the second author in the paper on how ion channels regulate neuronal activity and animal locomotion, which was published in Nature Communications. As a co-author, she also published papers on gene mutations associated with neuronal disorders published in journals of Human Mutation and Human Molecular Genetics.
